Disposal Laws Change

Senate Bill 1383 and Organics Recycling

SB 1383 requires communities statewide to reduce the amount of organic waste sent to landfills. Organics in landfills contribute to greenhouse gas emissions. While residents do not have to separate their organic waste themselves, certain businesses must.
