Die Western Placer Waste Management Authority (WPWMA) ist sich einer erheblichen Geruchsquelle bewusst, die offenbar die Einwohner von Western Roseville und Rocklin beeinträchtigt. Nach einer Untersuchung und Überprüfung bewährter Betriebspraktiken ist die WPWMA zuversichtlich, dass dieser Geruch nicht vom Gelände der WPWMA, sondern von einem nahegelegenen landwirtschaftlichen Betrieb stammt, auf dem Gülle ausgebracht wurde.
